The Evofinder® system belonging to the Zurich Criminal Police was dislocated to the network environment supported by ABRAXAS INFORMATIK AG (www.abraxas.ch). It’s considered as a first step in foundation of the Evofinder® distributed DB in Switzerland. St. Gallen forensic lab is the next.
Events
Federal Police. The ballistic lab was equipped by the Evofinder® system, “Forte edition”.
Policia Civil DF forensic lab. Set into operation the latest version of the Evofinder® system.
The newest Evofinder® system – “Forte edition” – was put in operation. A week training course was carried out for ballistic experts of the National Forensic lab.
The newest Evofinder® scanner, “Forte edition”, replaced the old one. The latest Evofinder® software release, which provides creating of tridimensional object pictures, was put in operation.
One more European country – Belgium – joined to the family of the Evofinder® system users. The newest Evofinder® system, “Forte edition”, with implemented Real Surface Creating technology was installed in Brussels.
The newest Evofinder® scanner, “Forte edition”, replaced the old scanner of the Condor® version. The latest software release was installed.
17th ENFSI EWG Firearms Meeting. Interpretation of the correlation results on using the Evofinder® system were presented in the report from Zurich Metropolitan police lab.
